Sarah Cosgrave

Senior Vice President, Corporate and Government Affairs

Sarah Cosgrave is Senior Vice President, Corporate and Government Affairs, for Midland Credit Management (MCM), Inc., an Encore Capital Group subsidiary.

Cosgrave leads the company’s nationwide government affairs efforts and business development organization. She manages both federal and state legislative and regulatory matters, and she serves on the board of Encore’s Political Action Committee (PAC). Cosgrave has served as a member of the MCM Executive Leadership team since January 2020.

Prior to joining the company in 2006, Cosgrave spent five years with Capital One in various operations and business development roles. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She has been a recurring member of the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) task force for the Receivables Management Association International (RMAI). Cosgrave holds a Master of Business Administration in finance from San Diego State University and bachelors’ degrees in politics and legal studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
